The NEC Classic Motor Show, now in its 40th year, played host to The Iconic Sale — attended by Apollo Capital as the exclusive finance partner.

Before the auction, Apollo and Iconic Auctioneers  collaborated to support a mutual client by arranging pre-approval for car funding. This gave the client the confidence to bid at the auction, knowing that funds had already been arranged and were ready to be paid out once the car was won.

The great and the good of the automotive world were in attendance, with famous faces spotted in the Influencers’ Corner. Several cars went under the hammer including the one of one 1977 Jaguar XJC-R Restomod ‘Emma’, which was sold as a charity lot. ‘Emma’ sold for £63,000 all proceeds including the Iconic Auctioneers Buyers Premium will be going to the RNLI.

A rare Porsche 911 (991) Club Coupe, one of just 13 worldwide, sold for £186,750. This particular Porsche was made even more special by its unique ‘Brewster Green’ colour, which had never been publicly offered before. It is one of only two right-hand drive examples and the only one of its kind in the UK.
